SOMERSET, Contract #442, is the sixth-to-last Trumpy built. Commissioned by Mr. Gerrish Milliken, Jr., of textile industry fame, her original name was SPINDLE; then, later, SOMERSET by her second owner, a name also kept by her third. She was completely rebuilt from the keel up in 2012 – 2013. The refit included a new bottom, keel frames and floors, fully rebuilt engines, new generators, new tanks and plumbing, entirely new wiring and electrical systems, new interior, wall coverings, and paint. She exemplifies the quality and style synonymous with the Trumpy name, and those inspecting her will find her ready to go in great shape with no known deficiencies.
